Westminster 2016Junior Handler Arwen Whiteman was the youngest junior handler at age 11 invited to Westminster in 2016. Archer earned his Grand Champion title with Arwen handling him the same year. Now at 15, when school and other sports permit, she still handles Archer exclusively in junior show competition and against professional handlers and breeder-owners in the show ring. After a hiatus of three years from the show ring with Archer focusing on performance sports in CA, the two returned to the Juniors and Best of Breed rings for the very first time at the 2019 DCA Nationals! There in Ohio, Arwen won Best Junior In Show and Archer made the BOB cut at the Western Reserve Regional on Monday and the two were Reserve Best Junior Friday at the National. The joy that Arwen and Archer our "AA Team" have and their ability to work together under heavy pressure with virtually no outside practice says a lot about both of them!
